World Impact International Ministries hosts "Back to School" Community Outreach Sunday

World Impact International Ministries (Brooklyn) hosted its “Back to School” Community Outreach on Sunday 15th with an attendance of two hundred and twenty-nine (229) in the worship service, nine of them making decisions to live for Jesus Christ. Throughout the day, five hundred (500) persons were in attendance, with three hundred and sixty-five (365) children received back packs and school supplies.
There were lots of games and other activities, such as face painting, bouncy-rides, hula-hoops etc. for which prizes were awarded. Several agencies including chiropractic, acupuncture and fingerprinting conducted by the NYC Hospital Police, were also present to give free medical and social advice. The spirit of godly fellowship, free food, and the many giveaways kept the children and parents very much occupied throughout the day. It was certainly a wonderful time of evangelism for the WIIM congregation.
The follow-up plan is very much in place to encourage the un-churched to attend worship services.
